The biotechnology-based company participated for the fourth time in a row in this trade fair of international reference for the fruit and vegetable industry.
The fruit and vegetable sector is experiencing a good time. This fact was confirmed in the latest edition of the fair Fruit Attraction, which celebrated this year its 10th anniversary and gathered together more than 70,000 professionals from 120 countries. Fruit Attraction 2018 took place in Madrid between the 23rd and the 25th of October. AlgaEnergy took advantage of this optimal scenario to showcase, for the fourth year in a row, its value proposition for a more sustainable agriculture. This proposition is materialized in a variety of high value products: the range of agricultural biostimulants based on microalgae, AgriAlgae®.
AlgaEnergy participated in Fruit Attraction with a stunning stand that had an undeniable protagonist: the PBR 2000. With more than a kilometer of glass tubes, this photobioreactor did attract the attention of everyone. But this is just a small-scale example of the most advanced technology AlgaEnergy has developed, which makes the company a world benchmark in microalgae cultivation and its valorization.
Regarding the attendance at Fruit Attraction 2018, Carlos Rodríguez-Villa, AlgaEnergy’s General Manager, points out that “the company has exceeded all its expectations, and AlgaEnergy has positioned itself as the reference in the microalgae industry. We are pioneers in their application in the agriculture. We have brought our technology closer to thousands of professionals of the fruit and vegetable industry, and those who still were unaware, have gotten to know all the benefits that using AgriAlgae® on their crops can provide”, adds Rodríguez-Villa.
Launch of the concept Integral Biostimulation®
Fruit Attraction also was the best scenario for the launch of the novel concept Integral Biostimulation®. This concept is based on two pillars of the company’s value proposition, namely its scientific knowledge and constant strive for innovation, and is materialized in a range of sustainable, innovative, and, above all, highly effective products: AgriAlgae® Premium.
Combining the immense biological and agronomic knowledge that AlgaEnergy’s Technical Team provides, together with its exclusive UPT® technology and its know-how on the cultivation of such an excellent quality raw material as microalgae, the company is in a privileged position to offer an integral and tailor-made solution for each crop, depending on the farmers’ specific needs. This world premiere solution positions AlgaEnergy as an international reference in the biostimulants’ industry.
The concept seeks also to highlight the role of the biostimulants in the modern agriculture. In this regard, Manuel Zoreda, AlgaEnergy’s Commercial Manager, highlights that “Integral Biostimulation® implies a holistic approach to any crop’s fertilization plan, integrally including tailored biostimulants during the whole cycle”. “We help farmers to optimize the yields and their qualitative traits and, as consequence, to maximize the profitability for them. This is only possible thanks to an optimized agronomic management, a tailored technical recommendation and an unparalleled range of products that leverage the immense biodiversity offered by the different microalgae strains involved in the elaboration of the biostimulants range AgriAlgae® Premium”, Zoreda adds.
Integral Biostimulation® was also one of the main protagonists within the 'Innovation Hub' -which showcases the most outstanding innovations of the sector-, and also in 'Foro Innova', that aroused great interest and attracted a large number of attendees, including the most important media of the agri-food sector.
