Our General Manager, Carlos Rodríguez-Villa, was interviewed on the 14th of October by the host of the radio show “En Clave Rural”, broadcasted in esRadio on Saturdays from 7:00 to 8:00 a.m.
The radio show “En Clave Rural”, hosted by Maria Santos, is a program of reference in the agricultural sector, emitted through the national radio channel esRadio. Within the program, there is a section named "The Innovative Breakfast", in which the radio show gives weekly visibility to companies of agri-food sector with a strong commitment to R&D and innovation. During the interview, which took place within the above mentioned section, Carlos Rodríguez-Villa presented the properties of microalgae and their application potential in different industries, in particular, the field of agriculture.
In this context, María Santos and Carlos Rodriguez-Villa talked about AgriAlgae®, our range of agricultural biostimulants based on microalgae. Rodríguez-Villa highlighted all the advantages that our products offer such as increasing crops’ yields, optimizing qualitative traits of fruits and vegetables and reinforcing stress resistance. These benefits translate into a greater profitability for the farmer. AlgaEnergy’s General Manager also stressed out the environmental sustainability of the product, since by using AgriAlgae® the farmer is responsible for the elimination of 2 kg of CO2 from the atmosphere for each 5 liters of AgriAlgae® he uses.

Following an extensive restructuring, AlgaEnergy is proud to partner with DE SANGOSSE Group through a soon to be finalized deal that will enable a concentrated focus on its agricultural markets.
