Mr. Hesse, responsible for Environment of Aena Airports, has made these statements to the Efe agency on the occasion of the events organized in Barajas in "The Environment Week" and explained that this plant has been launched by Aena Airports, Iberia and the company AlgaEnergy.
According to the Head of Environment of Aena Aeropuertos, this plan can only be achieved if biofuels are used in aviation, as the only way to "decarbonise aviation" is to ensure that in the future at least a 50% of biofuels is used.
