The report reviews the most important innovations for a sector that is growing considerably in the last few years.
The newspaper ABC published on the 8th April an article that includes the best proposals for the Gardening industry, a sector that is experiencing a remarkable growth in recent years. The innovative biostimulants based on microalgae and produced by AlgaEnergy, AlGarden®, has a prominent space in the report.
The article highlights AlGarden®, the range of microalgae based biostimulants optimized for its domestic usage, as one of the most relevant innovations in this sector, underlining the many advantages that the product presents. Due to their composition, these biostimulants provide the plant the compounds and tools that it needs for an optimal development.
AlGarden® promotes the flowering and sprouting of the plant and optimizes the assimilation, through the roots, the nutrients of the substrates. At the same time, these biostimulants naturally enhance the coloration and aroma of the plant and help it to overcome stress situations such as occasional drought or extreme heat. In addition, AlGarden® is an easy application product, as demanded by the final consumer.
The special includes an interview with Carlos Rodríguez-Villa, AlgaEnergy’s General Manager, who points out that AlGarden® has an important competitive advantage against other products as "since CO2 is the main nutrient for microalgae, the production of AlGarden® contributes to reduce emissions of that greenhouse gas into the atmosphere".
Following an extensive restructuring, AlgaEnergy is proud to partner with DE SANGOSSE Group through a soon to be finalized deal that will enable a concentrated focus on its agricultural markets. Previous business verticals including cosmetics, bioenergy, aquaculture and nutraceuticals will be discontinued, allowing a single-minded focus on solutions for agricultural markets, specifically agribiological inputs (biostimulants, biofertilizers and biocontrol).25 May, 2023
