AlgaEnergy keeps reawakening the interest of the media. On this occasion, it was the radio program ‘Por tres razones’ which dedicated a prominent radio slot to the company. A team of the program visited the Platform for Technology & Experimentation with Microalgae (PTEM) and broadcasted an interesting live interview focused on microalgae and their immense application potential in different industries. The program was broadcasted on April 23th in RNE, one of the radio channels under the state entity RTVE.
During the live interview, Carlos Rodríguez-Villa and Rocío Iglesias, General Manager and Plant Manager of AlgaEnergy, respectively, highlighted the properties of microalgae and their potential for application in sectorssuch as agriculture, cosmetics, nutrition, aquaculture and, in the future, the energetic sector. AlgaEnergy’s technology developed for microalgae cultivation and the inherent environmental factor -microalgae are responsible for more than 60% of the oxygen we breathe on Earth and they are the most efficient CO2 biofixation systems- had noteworthy mentions in the interview.
