AlgaEnergy sponsors the "8th European Algae Industry Summit"

AlgaEnergy has actively participated in the new edition of the "8th European Algae Industry Summit", which organized by ACI took place on the 24th and 25th April in Vienna (Austria).
AlgaEnergy’s participation included a presentation held by Carlos Rodríguez-Villa, the company’s General Manager, who highlighted in his presentation the potential of microalgae for its application in agriculture as effective plant biostimulants. In this regard, the properties of microalgae make them probably the best raw material to develop innovative, sustainable and highly efficient plant biostimulants, such as the ones comprising the range of microalgae derived biostimulants AgriAglae®. The advantages its usage derives, such as increasing crops’ yields, optimizing qualitative traits of fruits and vegetables and reinforcing resistance against abiotic stress, translate into a greater profitability for the farmer.

Following an extensive restructuring, AlgaEnergy is proud to partner with DE SANGOSSE Group through a soon to be finalized deal that will enable a concentrated focus on its agricultural markets. Previous business verticals including cosmetics, bioenergy, aquaculture and nutraceuticals will be discontinued, allowing a single-minded focus on solutions for agricultural markets, specifically agribiological inputs (biostimulants, biofertilizers and biocontrol).
