The Spanish leading agricultural TV program dedicated to AlgaEnergy and their microalgae-based biostimulants AgriAlgae® a prominent space. The journalist Carolina Pecharromán visited the Technological Platform for Experimentation with Microalgae (PTEM), the pilot plant located at the Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas International Airport, and discovered the many properties that microalgae provide and the advantages they offer as a first quality raw material. The report was broadcasted on the 13th of October in La 2, one of the TV channels under the public entity RTVE.
Carlos Rodríguez-Villa and Manuel Zoreda, General Manager and Sales Manager of AlgaEnergy respectively, were interviewed for the report. On the one hand, Rodríguez-Villa highlighted that microalgae are a first quality and unparalleled raw material and pointed out the immense potential for their application in agriculture as effective plant biostimulants. On the other hand, Zoreda explained how, thanks to the most cutting-edge technology developed by AlgaEnergy, the company has developed custom formulations that provide the crops what they need depending on the phenological phase: the range AgriAlgae® Premium.
The report also included the visit to the iMiDRA’s experimental farm where field trials with AgriAlgae® are being carried out. These studies are demonstrating the efficacy of microalgae-based agricultural biostimulants compared to seaweed biostimulants or products based on animal amino acids.
