A delegation from the Federal University of Viçosa (Brazil), headed by Dr. María Lúcia Caliuri, visits AlgaEnergy’s PTEM
09 February, 2012AlgaEnergy and the University of Viçosa will analyse during the coming months the fields of collaboration in which there is a mutual interest, that complement and add value, in a common R&D project, the research and experiences of each party.
The Advanced Center for Environmental Research of Brazil (nPA) to which this delegation belongs, develops technological research on various fronts, in particular, environmental sanitation, water resources and, among others, environmental information systems. It has development projects in the water reuse in airport environments, application scenarios of technologies for the wastewater reuse in microalgae cultures and in the treatment of wastewater in the constructed wetland systems.

AlgaEnergy about to successfully complete its restructuring process through the sale and incorporation of its agricultural business unit into the multinational DE SANGOSSE
Following an extensive restructuring, AlgaEnergy is proud to partner with DE SANGOSSE Group through a soon to be finalized deal that will enable a concentrated focus on its agricultural markets. Previous business verticals including cosmetics, bioenergy, aquaculture and nutraceuticals will be discontinued, allowing a single-minded focus on solutions for agricultural markets, specifically agribiological inputs (biostimulants, biofertilizers and biocontrol).
